LAS VEGAS (July 7, 2026) — Another prestigious class of golfers will headline the 2026 Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Night of Induction to be held Oct. 9, 2026, and features LPGA Tour star and philanthropist Natalie Gulbis; UNLV Women’s Golf Coach Amy Bush-Herzer; longtime Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Executive Julian Dugas, and Sylvia Hooks, a junior golf proponent. The event will be held in the historic South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa Grand Ballroom.

“It will be another incredible evening of Las Vegas golf history at the legendary South Point, and to honor Natalie, Amy, Julian and Sylvia will make for a special evening,” said Jeremy Anderson, president of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame.  “Our mission is to preserve Las Vegas golf history, and this class has had a huge hand in shaping it on and off the course. And we are excited to once again raise funds for the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame plus Southern Nevada Junior Golf through our Night of Induction.”

The public is welcome to attend the Night of Induction. All proceeds benefit the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame and junior golf in Southern Nevada. The 2026 inductees join a long list of deserving golfers with strong ties to the Las Vegas golf region who have been previously inducted, including Butch Harmon, Ryan Moore, Charley Hoffman, Chris Riley, Stephanie Louden, Dwaine Knight, the 1998 National Championship UNLV Golf team, Helen Cannon and Lou Redden, among others.

About the 2026 Inductees
Amy Bush-Herzer, Head UNLV Women’s Golf Coach, is also a PGA of America professional and former Southern Nevada PGA Chapter Executive Director. In 2026, In 2026, she earned her second consecutive Mountain West Coach of the Year honor, when she guided UNLV to its sixth Mountain West title of her tenure. In her 15 seasons, she has also led the Rebels to the NCAA Regionals 12 times and reached the NCAA Championship twice. Additionally, she has coached her student-athletes to two Mountain West individual titles, five Mountain West Golfer of the Year awards, six Mountain West Freshman of the Year awards, 36 all-conference selections, 37 WGCA Scholar All-America honorees, three individual NCAA Regional bids, an individual national championship trip, and two All-America honors.

Julian Dugas helped shape Las Vegas into one of the world’s premier golf destinations while serving as Director of Sports Marketing for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for 30 years. He promoted Las Vegas globally, helped bring the PGA International Golf Show to the city, and played a key role in sustaining major professional events including the PGA Tour’s Las Vegas Invitational, LPGA Tour tournaments, and Champions Tour events. Dugas was instrumental in creating and growing the World Long Drive Championship, helping establish Mesquite as the sport’s premier venue, while also supporting the Nevada Open, Mesquite Amateur, Wendy’s Three Tour Challenge, Las Vegas Hospitality Golf Classic, Transatlantic Golf Series, VH-1 Celebrity Music Golf Event, and numerous regional golf initiatives. Beyond golf, he was an early champion of Las Vegas as a major sports destination, helping support efforts that brought the NBA All-Star Game, NBA Summer League, NASCAR events, and other high-profile sporting events to Southern Nevada.

Natalie Gulbis is one of the most recognizable figures in women’s golf, having competed on the LPGA Tour for more than two decades, nearly all of it while living in Las Vegas. She captured the prestigious 2007 Evian Masters, and earned nearly $5 million in career earnings, recorded 37 Top-10 finishes, and represented the United States on three victorious Solheim Cup teams. During her peak years, Gulbis ranked among the LPGA’s elite, finishing sixth on the money list in 2005 with more than $1 million in earnings and posting Top-10 finishes in four consecutive major championships. Beyond her success on the course, Gulbis has become equally respected for her charitable efforts, youth mentorship, and longstanding commitment to growing the game of golf including creating the Natalie Gulbis Boys and Girls Club in Las Vegas. Gulbis continues to mentor the kids at her Boys and Girls Clubs, most of time during under-the-radar visits without fanfare or media in attendance.

Sylvia Hooks has made an extraordinary impact on junior golf in Southern Nevada through decades of volunteerism, mentorship, philanthropy, and personal leadership. A pioneering professional tennis player who overcame racism and segregation with grace and determination, Hooks has dedicated herself to helping young athletes succeed both on and off the course. As a longtime supporter of the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association, she has volunteered countless hours at tournaments, clinics, and fundraising events while serving as a mentor to juniors through the Adopt-a-Junior program.
