The John Wall Family Foundation (JWFF) successfully hosted its 16th Annual Summer Impact Weekend, themed “Family Reunion 2026,” bringing the Raleigh community together through mentorship, service, wellness and family-focused programming. The three-day celebration culminated with the Foundation’s signature JWFF Family Reunion & 16th Annual Back-to-School Giveaway and reinforced JWFF’s commitment to empowering youth, supporting families and creating meaningful community connections.

Thursday, August 6
JWFF partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake & Johnston Counties to host an exclusive fireside chat for 35 teen Club members at The Club – Teen Center in Raleigh.

Former Club teen member John Wall and Boys & Girls Clubs of America Ambassador Kreig Robinson engaged participants in a candid conversation about overcoming adversity, leadership, mentorship and navigating life transitions. The intimate discussion provided youth with an opportunity to connect with accomplished leaders committed to giving back and inspiring the next generation.

Friday, August 7
JWFF welcomed 200 youth and family members from community organizations across Raleigh to Regal North Hills for an exclusive private screening of Paramount’s PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie. Guests enjoyed a VIP movie experience featuring a red-carpet arrival, complimentary snacks and refreshments, and an advance screening of the film.

Later that afternoon, JWFF hosted its annual Summer Impact Feeding at the Center of Hope at The Salvation Army of Wake County. John Wall joined volunteers in serving a freshly prepared meal to children and families residing at the shelter. The meal was prepared by Chef Brandon of Bottom of the Bowl Catering, with ice cream provided by Ben & Jerry’s North Hills.

The annual event honored the legacy of Wall’s late mother, Frances Pulley, whose compassion and dedication to serving families inspired the longstanding tradition of bringing comfort, hope and community to those in need.

The day concluded with the second annual Yoga on the Court at Roberts Park Community Center. Certified yoga instructor Tiana of Flowtious Soul Yoga guided participants through an outdoor evening of movement, mindfulness and relaxation on the Foundation’s custom basketball court. Complimentary snacks and beverages provided by Slate Milk followed the class.

Saturday, August 8
JWFF kicked off its Main Event Day with the inaugural (919) John Wall & Friends Youth Basketball Clinic at Roberts Park Community Center. Boys and girls from across Raleigh participated in a free morning of basketball instruction, skill development and teamwork led by John Wall and friends.

The clinic promoted active lifestyles and positive youth development while providing young athletes with hands-on coaching and mentorship. Registered participants received custom clinic T-shirts designed by The Museum, followed by a post-clinic meal provided by Papa Johns Pizza and beverages from Coca-Cola Consolidated.

Summer Impact Weekend concluded with the JWFF Family Reunion & 16th Annual Back-to-School Giveaway, a free community celebration focused on education, wellness and family fun. Five hundred school-aged students received complimentary backpacks and school supplies, while families enjoyed free haircuts, meals, community resources, line dancing, a live DJ, face painting, inflatables and games. On-field activities during the celebration were sponsored by JMA Solutions.

During the celebration, John Wall personally recognized scholarship recipients from The Encouraging Academy Foundation. Each recipient received a $5,000 scholarship from JWFF and a $250 Ross Dress for Less gift card donated by Ross Stores. The recognition reflected Wall’s continued commitment to mentoring young people and encouraging them to pursue their educational goals.
