LAS VEGAS (May 22, 2026) – United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) hosted its annual Golf United Tournament, presented by Del Taco, on Monday, May 18 at Red Rock Country Club, bringing together players, business leaders, and community supporters from across Southern Nevada for a day of golf with a purpose.

“The success of our Golf United Tournament reflects the incredible spirit of giving in Southern Nevada,” said Samuel Rudd, President and CEO of UWSN. “Every participant, sponsor, and supporter plays a role in helping local families and individuals build brighter futures.”

More than 100 golfers hit the course at 8:00 a.m. for 18 holes set against the Red Rock Canyon ridgeline. Participants enjoyed the unique opportunity to play alongside former NFL cornerback Mark McMillian, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, while also receiving on-course instruction from PGA professional Tilly Gretsch, Founder of Gretsch Golf Academy and Head of Instruction. Golfers also competed in a variety of on-course contests, with one highlight being the longest drive competition, where the winner took home a signed Vegas Golden Knights jersey. The excitement continued off the course with a silent auction featuring sought-after prizes, including an exclusive foursome at The Summit Club.

All proceeds benefit UWSN’s programs helping young people succeed, families build financial security, neighbors access health care, and households make it through their hardest moments.

UWSN’s Golf United Tournament is made possible through the generous support of Del Taco, Aristocrat, NV State AFL–CIO, The Korte Company, and Rubin Brown.
