The world’s premier western performance horse event is returning to Las Vegas as The Run For A Million rides into the South Point Arena & Equestrian Center August 12–15, 2026. Widely recognized as the richest event in the history of reining, the competition brings together the sport’s top riders and horses to compete for more than $1 million in prize money while showcasing elite reining, cutting and cow horse competition.
The event features more than 90 competitions and activities throughout the week, including the prestigious Million Dollar Competition, Cutting Horse Challenge, Cow Horse Challenge, Youth Reining Challenge, Rookie Challenges and The Race to the Slide. Most daytime competitions and events are free for spectators, while the three marquee evening events take place Aug. 13–15, require tickets.
Beyond the arena action, guests can enjoy an expansive trade show, autograph sessions with top riders, live entertainment and a celebration of western lifestyle and equestrian culture, making The Run For A Million one of the country’s premier equine sporting events.
