South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa to Host Brendan Gaughan Celebrity Blackjack Tournament Benefiting Speedway Children’s Charities

Annual fundraiser brings together NASCAR drivers, celebrities and community supporters to benefit Southern Nevada children

LAS VEGAS– South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa will welcome racing fans and community supporters for the Brendan Gaughan Celebrity Blackjack Tournament on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, at the Grandview Lounge. Participants will play alongside NASCAR drivers and celebrity guests while raising funds for Speedway Children’s Charities’ Las Vegas chapter and the Southern Nevada children it serves.

Hosted in partnership with Speedway Children’s Charities, the annual tournament combines Las Vegas-style gaming with philanthropy. Proceeds will support local organizations that provide resources and opportunities for children in need.

The evening will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by introductions of the participating NASCAR drivers and celebrity guests. Scheduled participants include NASCAR drivers Ty Dillon, Noah Gragson, Jesse Love and Daniel Suárez; two-time Daytona 500 champion Michael Waltrip; and UFC fighter Diego Lopes.

Teams of three may register for $1,500. Each player will receive $5,000 in tournament chips and a commemorative gift, with cash prizes and South Point experiences awarded to the top finishers.

Tournament prizes include:

  • First place: $6,500
  • Second place: $4,000
  • Third place: $2,500
  • Fourth and fifth place: Dinner for two and two tickets to a South Point Headliner Showroom performance for each player
