IN THE CHAPEL
Low-cost, spur-of-the-moment weddings are the specialty at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hotel’s new Pop-up Wedding Chapel. Packages, priced from $80 to $195 (U.S), include a 20-minute ceremony, canned champagne, “eraser rings” from a gumball machine, a silk-flower bouquet and a souvenir picture from a photo booth. Also on offer are vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, pet weddings and “faux” weddings, which expire after 24 hours. A glass wall provides a view of the Las Vegas Strip, while allowing outside pedestrians to watch.
