A Fête for The Champ
One would think that in a city that has seen Evander Holyfield defeat Mike Tyson twice (once in a disqualification for the infamous ear-biting debacle), and perhaps Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao if they ever meet in the boxing ring, that some of Muhammad Ali’s greatest fights would have taken place in Las Vegas. Yet the three-time lineal world heavyweight champion only faced five opponents in the Vegas ring in the 21-year boxing career that propelled him from Cassius Clay to icon.
