Seasonal cocktails put the jingle in your bells

Holiday cocktails have come a long way since the days of eggnog and hot buttered rum. Where once it was acceptable to trot out the same old drinks, now we demand new and better cocktails to help spread glad tidings and stave off the humbug that creeps in around this time of year.
Texas de Brazil (6533 Las Vegas Blvd. S., 702.614.0080) gets in the holiday spirit with the Christmas Cosmo (3), Candy Cane-tini (4) and Mistletoe Delight (8), which combines equal parts Grand Marnier and cranberry juice with fresh lemon juice and simple syrup, garnished with a rosemary sprig. Always a staple around the holidays, Boa Steakhouse (The Forum Shops at Caesars, 702.733.7373) rolls out Santa’s Bender (7), a warm treat for a cold sleigh ride that twists hot apple cider into something adult with the addition of Crown Royal and whipped cream on top.
