How massive is Electric Daisy Carnival? The square footage of most Las Vegas venues wouldn’t even cover the area occupied by EDC’s portable restroom corrals.
The staggering scope of the electronic dance music festival set to begin Friday night came into focus today, when local media toured the re-imagined Las Vegas Motor Speedway infield. According to promoter Insomniac Events, the usable space for this edition of EDC will be 15 times that of the 2010 version, held in the puny-by-comparison Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
